The colour palette is terrible and lends nothing to the generic jungle terrain that doesn't change one iota from start to finish. The plot is rubbish, I really have no time for a 'coming of age' American tourist with his irritating friends who I couldn't give a rats bottom about. The lamentable ending was really unneeded and rushed, especially if you decide on one option over the other. The gun mechanics are awful (designed for console). You have to EXIT to the MENU to get to the map and inventory... WTF? No GPS? No dynamic in game map? RUBBBIIIIISH!!!

Right, hope this works as 4 years later I'm having my second play through of FC2. FC3 was the biggest pile of rubbish since the London bin man strike.

After the disappointment of Far Cry 3 I'm seriously looking for something that was made exclusively for PC. Given the original was so captivating atmosphere-wise I am seriously looking forward to this.
