I think the Centauri's main advantage is the number of ships they have and how the Vorchan is small and powerful. You also have the octurion battleship
I would imagine the best way to do it in regards to health would be to give the ST ships there shields but low hull strength, and give B5 ships high health but no shields. Question is, do energy shields stop rail gun projectiles XD
I also like to mix and mach XD problem is sometimes with the scale, a Galaxy class looks massive in the ST world at 640M but next to an Omega at 1700M its tiny lol
Well the white star could be added to Minbari and the Victory to the EA, or have the same ships biddable by multiple races

So, if you use pulsar lasers and have there fire rate's set really high, have 2 slaved to the same hard point and put a fire delay on 1 of them so they fire alternatively. Before TMP ship's were in-game i tried this with the defiant, replacing its pulse cannons and the effect was very good
I hope you use the pulsar effect for the old mk6 phasers. I tested this on a previous release and by having 2 fire alternatively from 1 had point gave a great WOK phaser look
the "b" has them as the model used in generations was the same as the excelsior model used in previous films, the extra bits were bolt on so they could be removed in case they needed the old model for another film. This is also why the size of the excelsior changes in TNG as the galaxy class stage model was not made to the same scale as the excelsior and they didn't want to make a new one, also why the Miranda and oberth at the end of generations looks out of scale
Need help, iv just re installed C&C3 and the 1.09 patch but the mod file is missing from the "my documents" c&c folder! anyone know how to fix this?

there wouldnt be a pc in the world that could run it then.. and if there was it would only be realistic if on the first punch it deleted your system 32 file to replicate the end of time and space as we know it

Oh and maybe a resource and fleet construction system would boost the game play, as Sierra say there will be no more homeworld games =(

Indeed, I only found the game when looking for homeworld mod vids on youtube and noticed a link to the B5 nexus mod.. from then I was hooked and spent months looking for a copy!
a few things they will need to take into consideration if this goes ahead..
1, the Mods are responsible for keeping this game alive and so they should give as much support as possible once the game is finished to the Mod teams.
2, they need to open up the game engine so mods can reach there full potential, there are some restricting features in the first nexus that have limited.
other than that ill defiantly be putting my name down for a copy.. and if they could get a cinematic mode that has that BSG look to it like this video has it would be amazing!
i'm looking forward to seeing the fire power of this thing and how quickly i can dispatch a fleet of EA ships with it XD

I like the flag ship idea, maybe you should just make the sovarin a bit harder as i found it a bit weak,
hmm im not sure is theres anything that could count as a dreadnought in BSG.. by the definition of such a ship having all guns being the same cal and the biggest cal there is then it would be like a battlestar with all its turrets as powerful as bow cannons.
On the note of filling spaces for ship sizes,I have a corvette size ship design that would fit well into BSG design style, if you want it?

There are 2 types of Valkyrie that i have seen, 1 looks like a refit with more guns, is this based on the older one or the refit?
Depends who you ask really, its a bit small for a battlestar and has very limited strike craft, but its much heavier armed than a fire star, kinda like a smaller galatica without the hanger pods but almost as many rail guns and bow cannons

thats a real shame as B5 is 1 of my fav scifi shows and lends itself well to the epic battles you can have in homeworld
