thats awsome !! i may jump back in as i havnt played in while :P

so i just did a fresh reinstal of medeieval II on steam and isntalled the game

1.instal medeival on steam (making sure kingdoms is installed)
2.go to :D:\Program files\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\medieval II (mine is in drive D your will be wherever your steam directory is)
3.copy medieval2.exe and rename copy to Kingdoms.exe
4.unpack BOTET.zip folder should be called BOTET and copy to mods folder here :D:\Program files\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods
5.download latest update from doiscord and extract to BOTET folder overwriting when prompted
6.downlaod 4gb patch and apply to both "medeival2.exe" + newly created "kingdoms.exe"
7.run warhammer.bat file locatd in :D:\Program files\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods\BOTET

have fun

i use steam and dont have to rename my folders

the instructions are pretty clear..dont stray from them and you will be on a sure path to victory !!

do you have kingdoms.exe file :P

you need the expansion to play it

run through the instructions agaoin you might of missed something :)

deamon armouy 1500-2000 ish

also a wh4k chaos 2500 pt force

i was still living at home when we were moving my entire collection along with 120 + issues of white dwarf(monthly magazine for gamesworkshop) were thrown into bin and I lost all

since then i never collect again

if the issue is intermittent

I would investigate any program/ process that runs every few days while your trying to play and it crashes

there maybee something thats causing it

otherwise make sure youve gone through the instal steps to the letter

or maybee a fresh isntal might help

yes you can run other mods

what this patch does is allow the game to use 4gb ram rather than 2gb which is standard

you should always be running this mod by using the warhammer.bat file located within the mod folder :)

the campaign map is fine its big enough :P
as for factions this is limited by the engine medieval II is sitting on

probably hardcoded so not able to be changed

also with new games on the way total warhammer II

they would never spend dev time on medieval II :P

can you give more details into the issue

yeah they fight each other

as with the lore

there is no more faction slots i think so that wont be possible

mod has large choice of full factions with varied roster/playstyles

map is complete and is HUGE
lords/heros some have been added..rest will be in future release

latest build is extremly stable with some very minor bugs reported - but nothing game breaking

can be quite difficult pending what faction you choose ..mod represents the End times in warhammer world
which is as it sounds..everything is going to hell
enimies every side and dark gods of chaos hungering for your soul :P

10/10 would loose my favorite general to a doomwheel again:P

ahh nope

they have changed it to the all black fow
so you have to go explore
this was brought up by another user but for the life of me i cant remember devs explanation.

im pretty sure your stuck with whats available im afraid
so its either all black fog or toggle it off and have none at all

this is due to the garrison script
which can be removed/ edited i believe, go to your data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign then open descr_strat.txt

it could be in there..have a look and see what you find

be aware Multiplayer will be unplayable if you chnage the file
so please make a copy
