I cant for the love of god hit crows with my rifle, if i use a fully automatic weapon i can hit them but not with a single fire weapon. Kinda stupid when sniper gets better loot from animals and they got the thoughest timehunting crows.

a quick question i think will help me out very much. How do you cook the meat you collect from dead animals?

In stalker the best way to earn money is artifact hunting. But i do agree that you should be able to sell items in worse condition, but that would also mean it would be for VERY small sums because if not you would be rich and would get end game stuff really easy. The game is supossed to be a challenge.

What i did was nading them from the room where you get the artifact until 2 of them were dead then i just walked out and shot the last dude.

From the sound of it i can fianlly sneak into the mercenary camp and kill everybody stealthly. I remember shooting one guy not being noticed. Then i sneaked up and tried killing a second guy with a pistol and i was noticed, i then tried using my knife and still they used their "hive" mind to tell the rest of the base of not just me being there but my exact location.
