Another thing I noticed while playing yesterday, months ago while on v000 I was able to turn on the power no the first dam

Since the v001 launched I was playing with the lights on the first part of the map, always trying to turn on the lights on the second dam

But after some retries, I noticed that the lights had turned OFF on the first part of the map

I thought I had pressed the "reset" button unintentionally, and went to check if babushka had also returned to the first position, for my surprise she hadn't, she was on her cabin, meaning some of my progress wasn't lost

I then turned ON the power on the first dam once again, and went to the second dam (on the same playthrough), but sadly died again trying to get away from the crooks

When I respawned, sadly the lights were OFF again...

Any idea why this is happening and how to fix?

Hello Ondrej_Svadlena, I tried playing this new version using my Logitech G27 wheel, but I'm having a problem with the jBrake and jAccel...
They are being recognized inverted in game, I also tried assigning by pressing the pedal all the way, clicking on the input, and then releasing the pedal, but still when I enter the game, while not pressing anything, it stays accelerating and braking 100%,.
If I press the accelerator midway, it stops accelerating, if I press all the way, it looks like it does reverse acceleration (if thats possible lol)
If I press the brake midway it stops braking (I can see the brake lights going away), if I press it past midway, it starts braking again, this time without turning on the brake light

Sorry for the "complain" message, I'm loving the new features, spent 4+ hours yesterday trying to turn on the second light switch lol

Happy new year!

EDIT: there's a program called "dxtweak" that allows me to see the input values, I noticed that the pedal RAW values go from 255 to 0, it could be it the reason that it's inverted ingame (I remember that games like LFS had a button to invert the AXIS)

Hi Ondrej_Svadlena I noticed that you said repeatedly that the minimum requirements would be GTX 770 + 3.0ghz quadcore CPU

My laptop has a 4510u (2.0ghz dualcore processor) + gt840m and it actually can do average 30fps @ 800x600, which is playable

I also tested @ 320x200 and was able to reach up to 75fps even with AI following me, task manager said that my 2.0ghz dualcore CPU was using around 85%

I would say that if you consider 1280x720@30fps minimum playable, something like GTX 650ti + 3.0ghz dualcore CPU should be able to handle just fine

Yes, I do understand that it's not just an effect, and it can turn out beautiful, the Series "Freeman's Mind" on youtube is an perfect example of gorgeous motion blur, the creator explains here how he does that: Youtube.com

Keep the good work :D

Hi Ondrej_Svadlena, recently found your game and already loved it!

I saw some people complaining about the motion blur, I also didn't liked it much, and coincidentally I found this video yesterday: Youtube.com

The video is a bit long (19m) but you can jump some parts, it talks about good and bad implementation of motion blur in games, maybe this could help without getting rid of all blur

yep, that works!

and a griding sound would indeed help ^^

keep the good work!

just one more question if you don't mind, it would be too hard to make this map multiplayer? to make like coop?

thanks, that helps, and now i'm playing with physics on medium, so the houses won't break down, and I don't die from the wreackage...

another thing that I noticed, is that this map has so much vegetation, that sometimes if you look to the vegetation, the screen freezes, but the game still go, and you need to turn around to the screen unfreeze, I got killed twice by this bug :(

and again, I was playing for 40 minutes, and was passing near a house that was totally destroyed, to see if there was something interesting on the wreckage, and... I died for touching it...

This mod is nice, but it have some annoying sides, like, you can never save your progress, and at the same time, you can die by touching one piece of broken wall of a house, or touching a floating boat, and you need to do everything again from the beggining :(

is there anyway to make a similar mod, but online? it would be really awesome!
