I'd really prefer if you put credits to the assets that you included in your file. Beceause it has come to my attention that you used my reskinned Zombiemen (UAC SecForce mod) and Commandos (Obsidian Dragons mod) without crediting me whatsoever. Thanks.

Hi again. I have one issue regarding your addon: it doesn't have a world/third person sprite. It's still in vanilla SSG.

Better than the vanilla v21 SSG. I miss this sprite ngl.

If you run this with Doxx's addon, some of the Doxx-exclusive animation sprites will turn the reskinned Commandos into their vanilla counterparts.

I hope y'all enjoy this simple reskin. I'm not good at spriting. I only did this to bypass my moody blues this pandemic. If this addon becomes well-received, I might upload my reskinned version of the Commandos.

Doomguy's sus

I have played your sub-mod moments ago. I want to say that I applaud you for trying to make the mod as realistic as you can ever do. The balance of the weapons is fine (which is your intention to make the game more realistic), although the maximum ammo inventory is a a bit much (like 700 ammo for rifle and minigun). Also, my other concern is that the minigun becomes slightly overpowered since you removed the recoil effect, and so the accuracy increases, which is contrary to your goal to make the gameplay realistic.

I have no problems about the Doomguy's voice, but only the grunt when he jumps. No offence, but I think his jump sound is a bit awkward. Other than that, good job on removing the unwarranted "Hmmm..HAHA!" laugh, the oneliners, and other stuff (although I still miss the "Go F- Yourself" qoute).

My other concern about the sound effects is that the footsteps sound cheesy (I have to agree with the other commenter that it sounds like the Doomguy's "tap-dancing"), the reloading sound of the SSG seems soft/inaudible... same goes with the shotgun firing sound.

Don't be discouraged about the low ratings. You did a good job though. I hope you will not take the things I said as a personal attack or an insult. I just wanna help you with your sub-mod.

Honestly, I only use "UDV Brutal HUD" as my addon, no sound effects replacement whatsoever. Also, I would like to clarify that the firing sounds of the rifle and chaingun are not literally "muted," but rather they sound rather "soft," even when set to maximum volume in the source port.

About the Doomguy's insults, one-liners, and whatnot? I understand. Actually, I don't really use the one-liners that much because of the same reason with that of yours. I only use the "GO F--- YOURSELF" one because instead of yelling/raging at my computer, I would instead use it whenever I feel so annoyed with the enemies, especially the Lost Soul and the Pinky. But hey, to each is own.

Lastly, about the health bonus sprite, I agree with your point that the sprites look too medieval. I was only suggesting to replace the current sprite because it looks like a stimpack. Perhaps you can remove the red cross on the sprite, it's up to you.

Hello, sir. I hope you will not take this personally, but I would like to address my concerns about the sound effects. First of all, the rifle firing sound seems to be silenced, with only the "ding" sound of the bullet is heard. Second, the sound effect of the chaingun firing, same problem with the rifle firing, but without the "ding" sound. Also, I don't mean to be an ***, but why did you disable the "Go *insert f word* yourself" insult?

Oh, before I forget, can you replace the health bonus sprite? Because I kinda mistaken it for the stimpack.

Judging from the flame war I have read about DOOM 4, I would like to say something. For me, Brutal Doom is one of the most entertaining mods I have ever played. This mod is one of my personal favourites in terms of mods. Doom 4 is a pretty decent game, but it's not the perfect game. Please do take note that as time progresses, the gameplay mechanics tend to change. At least in the latter, they still retained the "no falling damage" feature. Yes, you have the right to criticize the game for its gameplay and anything, but please... stop badmouthing the game just because it "barely resembles" Brutal Doom, because of nostalgic boner, or just because Doom becomes a copycat of Halo or Dead Space. If there is one thing I can't stand in this community is that they tend to be biased about other mods/games, and simply praise Brutal Doom as "the best mod hailed in the universe." I have nothing against Brutal Doom, but comparing it to Doom 4 is like comparing apples to cats... it's utterly ridiculous. I hope there is some maturity left in this community. Please no hate.

Guys, I have one concern regarding "Hell on Earth Starter Pack."

In Map 10 (of Episode 1), I have no idea what happened... but the entire game lags bigtime! The entire map lags to a point that it only runs in 5 frames per second... I already enabled the janitor CVAR but still... I need your help resolving this. It's beginning to get in my nerves.

If you're wondering, I'm playing Brutal Doom on my laptop, which can handle Brutal Doom without any binary sweat. But if you want its specifications, just reply and I'll show you.

Any help would be appreciated.
