weird. 5.0a is the newest. it might be because the name was the same as the first upload so it got labeled that on moddb.

not sure exactly how BaS sounds work, but they probably just use the default sounds which will be edited by this. I was going to create a compatibility patch, but BaS doesn't actually edit the weapon_sounds.ltx so it seems unnecessary. Haven't tested it though.

это скорее всего конфликтует с другим модом, он вообще не редактирует ножи

Yeah super easy to do. Look in the file weapon_sounds.ltx in configs/items/weapons. you can search for the m4 and change
snd_silncer_shot = wpn_556_snd_silenced
snd_silncer_shot_actor = wpn_556_snd_silenced_actor
to
snd_silncer_shot = wpn_545_snd_silenced
snd_silncer_shot_actor = wpn_545_snd_silenced_actor

Estoy usando el traductor de Google, lo siento.
Sí, es solo un cambio de configuración para usar los nuevos sonidos de blindxside, eso es todo lo que necesitas, creo.

It goes ontop of the rest of the addon, it changes just some configs.
And you're good! It was a genuine problem with the mod that I had neglected. Thanks for helping spread the word.

Thank you! The grenade sounds are actually quieter than they are supposed to be, so it'll be better in 4.1 which will be coming out soon.

Thats odd, I'll see what could be causing it. Is this something new in 4.0 compared to the previous version or is it your first time using it?

So you can if you copy over ONLY the files in the Sound_Layers folder and everything in the "sounds" folder, only those were edited and should be mostly unchanged by the patches but I can't say for sure without trying it myself

Look up Soundscape Overhaul, its another mod I made that deals with stuff like that. this one changes gun sounds.

Try this: I made a max performance mode that will be included in the next update: Drive.google.com

This mod doesn't change reload sounds, so its likely a vanilla or another mod.

I just tested it with a clean install and it worked fine. Not sure what the source of the crash is.

They sound the same when suppressed because I only had a couple assets for suppressed 9m to use, but unsuppressed they all have unique firing sounds for the player. They sound similar because of their caliber, though
