EXACTLY, Just change the name to "ALMOST middle earth total conversion mod".. Then they can't say it's the same. Change char names a little.. Aragorn could be Aragon, Gimli could be Gimly, Legolas could be Leggomyeggo, etc... Then they can't say it infringes on their copyrights. Or contact Tolkien's publishers and ask them for rights to continue, then let them go at it with WB, if WB takes issue. I am certain the publishers can comprehend that by having a video game, that will entice gamers and kids who have never read the books to actually go read them... The movies do the opposite.. People watch them movies and think they don't need to read the books.. So this mod actually does Tolkien a service. So **** WB.

HOT TIP: If the moddb download speed is too slow (was only going max 150 Kb/s for me) Try selecting a different mirror and use the Gamespot link.
(I got speeds between 300kb - 1mb /sec with the Gamespot mirror) :)

I'd love to play this mod.. But downloading it is not happening.. the site you posted doesn't have any download link directly available.. I registered and it won't let me log in (it's been over an hour).. Personally, I think this release method is pretty stupid.. Good luck getting a decent amount of online players on your servers.. Now, I'm pretty good with computers.. If it's this difficult for me to download it, i can only imagine the frustration of people less computer literate... Seriously. Demonoid is there for a reason, so is The Pirate Bay. If it's a FINAL release, then please release a write protected .torrent file with a checksum log to maintain validity. Then sit back and watch the community grow! Otherwise you lose potentially hundreds of people like me everyday who find the hassle not worth the work to get the bloody mod in the first place... I'll go back to SWWT... :/
