I have a science degree and an arts degree, and am about to do a course in English language teaching. I started playing computer games in high school, and am still hooked on them today. The games I'm playing most at the moment are CS:S (mainly gungame servers), NBA Live 2008, TrackMania Nations Forever, and the Shockwave Zero Hour mod. This user name is also my gaming name, which I gave myself very early on (1998) due to my ability to die quicker than everyone else when playing CS ("Eh, Sanka - ya dead?" - quote from the movie Cool Runnings). I've joined ModDB mainly because there are a fair few ZH mods in development that I am tracking, eager to play whichever one comes out first. I don't yet know anything about coding, mapping, skinning, etc., but I know what I like and don't like in a mod, and have an interest in writing, developing ideas, and research.
