Mod review

Clone Wars Mod Review and comparison to Republic at War:

It’s a really nice mod and well playable. I have to thank you for all your work a lot. Since the „Clone Wars Theme“ is my favourite, I have also been playing Republic at War for quite some time. Republic at War has the known AI-difficulty-problem. This means, that you have to play in a special way to defeat the AI (commando-raids a lot, leave planets without fleet, …). The Problem is, that this is not the style I would like to play EAW. The Clone Wars Mod is much more closer to vanilla-gameplay concerning the strategic and global part and I love that. That also means, that AI has to follow the paths on the strategic card and AI can’t attack you everywhere out of nowhere like in Republic at War. I have more fun with the Clone Wars Mod but there are some things either, that could be fixed for better experience, so here are my suggestions:

-ground units get stuck often, especially single units like jedi
-some planets are sometimes blinking and no action is possible with that planet any more (Rusan, no attack, nothing to do with that planet any more)
-if I have many units in ground combat but the box to choose them is not big enough/ not scrollable to select them as reinforcement

-space battle:
1)Nearly all capital ships produce fighter/bomber. In the late game, the game gets stuck and you have no way of control of the battle any more. It feels like stuttering with 1 fps or so. So with big fleets unfortunately you could only auto-resolve the battle. Also building fighters, bombers or fregates from the strategic part is useless because you already have enough of them.
Solution: No Fighters/bombers from capital ships any more.

2) If I auto-resolve space battle (which I must do in late game, see above), I get the win with much higher fleet, that’s ok and balanced. But the AI only has losses of 1 or 3 ships and can flee to another planet. So this takes forever and is annoying. In my last game, the AI-fleet got to the planet Rusan (no action any more) and that was it, Icould not attack them any more.

-remove neutral planets, nobody has anything from their existance

I highly recommand The Clone Wars Mod because of the fantastic units, the nearly perfect ground battle and the great strategic part.

Perhaps you would take some points from above into consideration for your next update.
