Honestly I really don't have the time right now. I still haven't gotten around to playing Revision.
I need to play through it to find out what features of NanoMod would make sense in Revision and which would be redundant.

GMDX, however, definitely not feasible. The idea of this mod directly contradicts with design choices of GMDX.
GMDX aims at making gameplay more realistic and thus harder, while this mod removes some realism features that I find tedious to deal with.

There is no Unrealistic setting. I think it was disabled in BioMod and some NanoMod features don't support it at all...

As for the Player Setup yes I had to remove it to make way for NanoMod settings (the max number of menu buttons is hardcoded), but looking back, I should have put it in the submenu rather than the main menu. But alas..

Revision is out. I haven't even played it yet, and I don't know how hard it would be to integrade NanoMod into Revision if at all. I don't know how it's setup.
If it proves to be impossible/too much work for the little feature gain, I don't see a future in NanoMod sadly.

I'll get to it sometime soon and see what I can do.

Are you asking about BioMod or NanoMod? :O
Make sure you install all three betas, starting from Release #1 to Beta 3 from Moddb.com

Then read NanoMod's readme, you may need to copy a file from the HDTP install directory into DuesEx, if you don't have a proper launcher.

If everything is setup correctly, NanoMod should have HDTP options in its settings dialog.

And BioMod should just work without settings.

Sorry for the lack of replies, work work and work :(

If you read the ReadMe, there is very little compatibility with unifiedDeusEx. DX Enhanced no.

HDTP and New Vision only so far.

the HDTP settings in user.ini do not get loaded by NanoMod. It has its own HDTP settings in the NanoMod Settings dialog. You can disable human HDTP models entirely, but if they;re on, MJ12 troops are always disabled.

Yep!
Nono, you still get random weapon mods from unconscious people, just not the guaranteed ones from people marked as Important -- like Lebedev, Manderley.. There aren't that many. I guess I could remove this restriction now since civilians are no longer assigned weapon mods..

But I also don't want to encourage scenarios like killing Anna, then knocking down Lebedev just for weapon mods.

Also there is another case I just thought of - if you don't kill Simons in the Ocean Lab, he shows up later in Area 51. Does he still show up there if you knock him unconscious instead?

I guess I'll have to make a playthrough trying to knock people unconscious instead, see how the game handles all those cases. I just want people to play the way they want to play without providing an incentive to deviate from their morals just for loot.

It's a good thought though, I'll re-evaluate this definitely.

They have different goals, though. More mods, more choices for different kinds of tastes ;)

GMDX focuses on harder gameplay/weapons/more realism type of thing.
NanoMod's goal is to enhance Shifter+BioMod DeusEx experience without changing much of the core gameplay of the mods.
It fixes bugs, adds polish, and touches areas that neither Shifter nor BioMod got around to - like NanoKey fixes, Weapon Mod relevance and other stuff. It also adds full HDTP support for those that like BioMod's gameplay.

Oh, forgot.
Yea, definitely, once Revision is out I'll try my best to make it compatible. Atm, their page on MODDb doesn't even have a download.

But ugh, I'd have to go over every map and edit all my map object replacements, since their object IDs will most probably be different from vanilla maps. Ah well, it will be worth it though. Revision looks amazing from the screenshots they have.

Ahahaha. Thanks man. Yea, I keep updating because I always find a bug after I make a new version, and so I try to think of stuff to add so my update notes won't consist of one little bug fix :D

Thanks, really appreciate it! I can't play DX without it, either XD))

Yea that's what keeps me away from it, the whole forum setting sounds just so.. Ah, well I'll give it a shot at some point.

Nah, it shouldn't crash, but some settings like Purge Inferior Guns and/or some other specific stuff will behave oddly (obviously since there are no checks for TNM specific stuff).

One thing though, the latest feature where you need Advanced skill level to hack anything with a special option -- might cause problems. I don't know how involved hacking in that mod is .. and more over, my mod sets every computer terminal ever to Advanced skill level if the mission number is 14 or more.

So there's that. If you do check it out before me, do let me know how it went. Usage with TNM is the same as with Shifter's DeusEx.u.

Actually, nevermind. You can only safely use Unified's DeusEx.exe and direct3d dlls from System\ and Textures\DeusExUI\Icons.

Everything else comes out either blurred or out of bounds.

Well... You can not use DeusEXUI.u with NanoMod's DeusEx.u. unifiedDeusEx seems to load resources differently, and it comes out all garbage.

However, you can use anything from unified's Textures\ folder to have updated icons and images. But not much else, I'm afraid.

Thank you so much! This really makes me smile!

Unfortunately, no, it probably isn't. I completely disregarded any TNM references in Shifter's code because I never actually played TNM to know what some of the things actually supposed to do.
While it may not crash, some features will most definitely not work.
I might give TNM a try in the near future though, and see if full compatibility is a not too daunting of a task.

Thanks again for the kind words!

You can follow Shifter's readme for installation instructions. Just replace everything in the appropriate folders in your DeusEx installation location.
Yes, it's fully compatible with New Vision.

That means that HDTP's DeusEx.u is overwriting NanoMod's DeusEx.u. Make sure that System/DeusEx.u is loaded before HDTP's, or disable HDTP's DeusEx.u altogether.

It now is fully compatible with HDTP, if you're still interested ;) Thanks for the idea btw, I probably wouldn't have gotten around to it for a while.

Thanks a lot, really nice to hear that!

Yea, it doesn't have a lot of HDTP features currently. Mainly being I know that Shifter 1.9RC1 has full compatibility with HDTP, but the author of Biomod (which this mod is based on, heh) is waiting for final release since RC1 has some bugs.

I will see what I can do though, maybe I can merge just the HDTP compatibility from Shifter 1.9. I haven't yet played with HDTP personally. Maybe I should change that and see how easy or hard it would be to merge HDTP features.

Thanks!
