Got it running, but getting a black screen when the music starts (nice music BTW).

I must be doing something wrong. Not showing up in Steam library, no option to launch the mod from within episode 2. Restarted steam after installing, desktop shortcut produces "Setup file 'gameinfo.txt' doesn't exist in subdirectory [my custom game folder address] Check your - game parameter of VCONFIG setting." Thanks.

Descent is open for the taking now as the company that made them fell into ruin. This is because they assumed that everyone would use a gamepad, not a mouse and keyboard!!! So they failed miserably in selling their last release. Horribly short-sighted.

One of the original Devs recently said they'd kill to make a sequel, but didn't specify why they did not.

Now we got a game called Miner Wars that's been in pre-alpha since time began (stupid uninspiring name shows how limited their imagination is) that claims to follow in the footsteps of Descent. I preordered it more than 2 years ago. Not holding my breath to be impressed.

Googed. New to BF2 and didn't see the option for custom game in the menu. My bad. Too bad there was literally no one to play with. Hopefully this will change very soon. Thanks for your hard and DILIGENT work.

Sorry, meant to mention I'm on Steam and my system is Win 7 x64 Ultimate. Happens if I click SP, too. Can't wait to play this.

Every time I click MP the game closes. No crash report that I know of. Doesn't happen with vanilla BF2.
