Re:Mobilize

Mod review

Going to give this a play shortly! I already know it's going to be a banger, and the new mobility features really ETERNALIZE Quake to good effect. Quite the fork of progs_dump 3 if I do say so, myself!

Hexen - Rebirth of Cronos

Mod review

Really good work with all the 3D models, especially within the limits of the engine (doing everything to the original animation frames, where GZdoom lighting hasta be flat in places, etc). I could imagine these models in a fully 3D engine, tho already this is all lit!

Voxel Doom

Mod review

This is really awesome and pretty much how I would have dreampt Doom's monsters being 3D would have been like back in the day, before I had a concept of Quake's 3D-ness.

Hunter's Moon

Mod review may contain spoilers

Hunters moon was always very interesting and unique; dragons, barons with axes, TV-mouthless Bruisers? Very cool.

Shadows Of Chaos standalone

Mod review

This is lit, I like the new additions and it's a nice, clean downlaod with which I can easily keep track of! I will continue mapping for this as time permits, around other projects! A new 'hub3' is pending! ;)

Quake 1.5

Early access mod review

This is really awesome and builds upon the original Quake in a lot of ways. I love the modified levels, to boot!

Hexen II - Shadows of Chaos

Early access mod review

Shadows of Chaos takes everything from both base HeXen 2 and even Game of Tomes (which already improved upon H2) and cranks it up to 11. This demo is just a taste of what's to come, surely, but it already gets high marks for story, atmosphere and environment. It's aim is, clearly, to become THE benchmark with which to mod HeXen 2 from here on in - much like Arcane Dimensions for Quake - and from what I've played, it delivers! Cooperative mode even has a checkpoint system since you don't save as in singleplayer, though dying resets gained experience - a godsend that balances gameplay out nicely considering you DO have help.
