When we made this mod we were aware there would be some players less in love with the idea of another 'Greek' based mod. So we took a few extra weeks to make the Persians also playable. I've played both factions and had as much fun crushing the armies of the Greeks as I did the armies of the Persians..

Hi EC. Sadly I'm retired from modding. Makanyane still mods and has been working on 'Princes, Kings and Hero's' (for MTW2 Kingdoms) with her partner Wild Dog. They've some amazing work especially with building and environments, the castles they've made have to be seen to be believed.They actually developed the tools for editing those things and a number of mods (most notably 'Third Age) have used their tools..

Alexander; Did you launch from the Alex exec that is created by the installer? The installer was created for wondows XP. You might have to change the path of the exec for Vista/windows7 ... I'm more likely to see questions on the TWC forum..

Sorry, I don't pass by here often and I missed your comment. What you're describing sounds like a known bug in the vanilla game. Generally refereed to as the 'siege bug' it's a pathing issue which is hard coded. Nothing we can do about it.

Sorry no RTW version. Alex has a couple of features that really appealed to me for this mod. Being able to name generals and give them specific portraits (Leonidas/Xerxes) in particular. You can purchase Alexander on steam if you can't get it on disc, it's very very cheap these days..

Direct the installer to your RTW main directory.
Run the mod from the short cut on your desktop.
