Campaign Commander

Mod review

Very well done. Models are excellent, but it gets hard after the covenant has reached tech level 3, when all they throw at you are hunters, zealots and wraiths D:. Balancings a bit of an issue. Why do Scorpions have 1 pop point when wraiths have 2?

All-in-all, still a great mod. A lot of work has been put into it. Keep making this mod better!

Minecraft

Game review

Such a simple game that takes a minute to learn, but a while to master. While its pixel graphics may, to some, make it a crap game, once you start playing, your going to develop some respect for this game

There are many ways to do in minecraft, from exploring the world to creating the largest buildings ever created. The game has worlds that are all unique, they are infinite and satisfy the exploring need. But if you don't want to do that, but rather follow a 'campaign' story, there are literally hundreds of such maps found across the internet.

There are a rediculas amount of ways to customise the game to how you want. You can change the textures using texture packs, varying in the power of graphics (minecrafts textures are usually 16x16, but some have increased this to 128x128 textures!). You can also create a custom skin for yourself and easily install a variety of mods that add new content!

Minecraft also has a few downfalls. The build limit restricts your ability to construct buildings that reach the sky.

Despite those issues, minecraft's simplistic nature allows it to reach out to a wide range of gamers. That is why I have rated it so high. Thank you, and good day

Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption

Game review

I LOVE the game. I had this on my old computer before I had to get rid of it. Its a very cool and strategic game, but I hate how the rebels and imperial units mirror each other. STILL LOVE PLAYING IT

Covenant at War

Mod review

Its a great mod. The textures are excellent, the models are very well done compared to other mods I've played and I just like that the 2 fractions are very different to each other, how they're so balanced out, that u need different strategies to pull ur opponent under the waves and the new menu screen. This is a tremendous improvement to the original game of EAW.

The Covenant contain overpowered ships that, while they lack variety, put ur opponent on its toes, firing powerful plasma torpedoes and lasers. However, they are VERY expensive, and I found it hard to win battles over the numerous fleets of the UNSC (I recommend you control lots of asteroid mining facilities). The UNSC, on the other hand, specialise in large-fleet tactics, with the most useful ship being the hardy frigate, being cheap for its weapon systems.

However, as even the space version is incomplete, as the ships need custom speeches and there are no heroes (not including the SoF, as thats Home One)

Overall, I recommend this to stratagists that always have a trick up their sleeves, that are quick-thinkers and experts to this mod. Can't wait for the next release!
