Lurker is too easy even on hard difficulty. It doesn't hide well most of the time you can see them chilling in open spaces. One too many times I caught them just staying in doorways. Also it retreats too soon after taking damage.
Is there a way to keep laser pointer on with hud off?

it isn't Call of duty. Disable recoil, all enemies with 1HP and you get what Gearbox is intended to make..

It is a known game bug not mod. You need to reload last checkpoint. AI gets stuck if you died couple of times and replay the same checkpoint a couple of times. It affects enemies as well as friendly NPCs.

you can choose in the installer menu to not install xeno AI files. Though it is the best part of the mod that makes game fun. With hud turned off, high difficult and fast xenos - immersion is real. I wish it could play well with VR.

you can choose in the installer slower soldier profile or copy it manually from the install folder. Playing with fast xenos requires a new strategy you cant let them get close to you, so you need to lure them back and give yourself more space, if you use AR. Running and gunning will get you killed 9 out or 10 times. Learn their movement patterns and levels so you can pick spots where they cant attack you directly or follow each other in a single line. SMG is the best option to fight them - high rate of fire and low recoil. Flamethrower is a good option to slow them down though refills are rare. Keep shotty for last resort it isnt too inconsistent.

It did the trick. Dropping sampling to 10 doubled FPS and dropped CPU peg below 80%. It did make bloom stand out more. You might want to reduce bloom a bit. On some levels in Stasis DLC it is outright blinding.

did you use included installer or manually move files? There are issue with the installer.

for some reason I cant hit xeno right before it goes into killing animation while it seems to work with vanilla game. I even recorded gameplay and I see shots go through xeno. It feels even worse when I ADS with shotgun. I suspect it could be because CPU is too busy with calculating effects and frames just not drawn timely.

-iron sights a bit more visible (e.g. pistols and shotguns and some rifles). They are smaller than in the vanilla game and hard to aim through.
-Gun models reduced. They are taking too much of the screen and make difficult to see fast moving xenos when they are closing in.
-Melee isn't effective anymore with quick xenos which leads to many quick deaths if xeno gets too close. It needs to be balanced a bit with an ability to slow down approaching xeno as it takes ballistic damage. I.e. if you hit it with shotgun blast or start putting rounding into it from AR it should slow down or even freeze for a short period of time. Also they should not be chasing you when you set them on fire. It just isn't in line with the movie. Ripley would have been dead in first 30 mins of the movie if aliens were chasing her after she had set them on fire. ;)

fresh reinstall with all ACM files including my doc deleted still produces the same result with low FPS even in menu screens. ACM is pegging one of the cores above 80% all the time with V3 on med/high/ultra. Reverting back to V2 drops utilization below 70%.

What CPU are you using? Look at your CPU load when game is running. It uses a lot of CPU power. On my i5-2500K, utilization went up from 40% to 80-90 in V3 while GPU is under 80%. That seems to be limiting FPS. Shader code needs a bit more optimization to reduce load on CPU

Stasis DLC works fine with SSAO. I believe FXAA is disabled in the mod config files. It uses different AA. If you enable it via in-game config it will reset mod's config. You need to reset Read-only from PecanEngine.ini file if you want to change it.

not when enemy a foot in front of gun. All 8 pellets should hit the enemy. I've noticed random hit detection when xeno moves sideways it takes less or no damage than when it moves straight at you - 1-2 feet away it should not make any difference. It makes shotgun less effective and useless with tough and fast enemies. It seems like a bad balance. Slow rate gun should be very effective at a close range. Vanilla game balance is enjoyable even on badass level.
