If this happens, check the end of the log file. There are issues every now and then where the game "aborts" due to broken events. I got around 5 in a speedrun using DX9 while Godmode and Unlimited Ammo is active.

Sounds like your game didn't completely install. Reinstall it and if that doesn't work, redownload the full game then reinstall it

There's a very small chance that they won't shoot you. But the only workaround is to use god mode for this level until the dream sequence ends

It does seem like you screwed up something, because in all my v1.4000 - v1.4005 playthroughs, the Monolith was friendly and I could offer cash to get past.

I don't know how you could've screwed it up, but you're going to have to fight your way through

I couldn't, because the PDA still showed that Kill Chimera was unchecked.

I do remember in v1.4002-v1.4004 you got 2 other quests. One where you must give Major Griboyedov 2 Scientist Suits, 1 Orange and 1 Green, then after that you must find Galik, but finding Galik was bugged.

I just tried the mission again and there is no Chimera to be found, and if it is there, I am not running through the whole Countryside at night looking for it.

Could you tell me what comes of that mission?

As far as I've seen, if you play Master difficulty, the NPC counter and beep sound is turned off

All the Mutant missions? Where did you find the Chimera for the third Mutant Cleaning mission? I checked in the "Tunnel" multiple times, but it's nowhere to be found

It's on the Military Warehouses Base Computer, on the second floor inside the building you had to hide in to avoid the scripted blowout with Contact

You must've read the comments on the addon you installed.

The LA DC v1.4005 Extended is bugged. When you install it, deselect the NPC meshes, then it will work

Then like I mentioned, delete your user.ltx and start the game again

Why? It's an auto-generated file when you open the game.

If you need a new one, delete yours, then open the game and a stock one will create itself for you.

Dezowave is aware that the Expedition Quest is buggy, but if you know how it works, it is do-able.

Basically, if you start the quest, make sure their pathway is clear, by killing any stray mutants. (Except all the dormant zombies at the first checkpoint) Then, every time they come to a COMPLETE stop, make sure you talk to both the Orange Scientist and the Loner first, then the Leader of the Expedition, so that the next part of the Expedition can trigger.

Just don't do anything that is unnecessary, for e.g. if you accidentally shoot 1 dormant zombie at the first checkpoint before you pick up the document and device, the quest breaks...

This only happens when you create a manual save game from the menu, because the game takes a screenshot as soon as you save, but the timing of the screenshot is just a little off, which needs to be adjusted so that it takes the screenshot at the right time to show gameplay instead

By opening the Trunk of the car you have an option there for repairing the vehicle for free. I haven't had any issues with the car struggling to get to the Darkscape mines

I already did just now though, but it's just in and out of the Mines, not Darkscape itself

I believe you know where to put it? Just in case, extract the files to
"\...\<LA Game Root Folder>\appdata\savedgames"

They do drop items, but not many boxes do. The loot they drop were never random, they are always preset.

But making them random can cause issues, for e.g. having a 0.01% chance to drop endgame items like an Exosuit. So you start a new game and if you are so lucky, you break a box and an Exosuit drops at the first minute of the game...

I have one walking into the Mines for the first time on Veteran difficulty, do you want me to quickly run in and out then give you my save?

You should be able to buy night vision from Sidorovich when his loot resets at night. Also, make sure you replace your flashlight, the flatter the battery, the weaker the flashlight, otherwise, turn up your brightness at Options

That quest is a little buggy when it comes to the order of items you need to find for it, but I see that you already found everything you needed to, so just leave the underground and the quest should complete normally

They have been quiet on this comment section the past 2 weeks. I believe they are refraining from communicating either due to being with families during the holidays or not to let slip any more release info.

You can do it without God Mode, you just need to eat and drink lots before talking to Ghost. I think if you are sleep deprived, this might not work.

You killed The Sin in The Cordon so they are scripted to be ****** off with you. When entering Dark Scape for the first time, Petrenko actually tells you that and you must go to him and donate money to get on The Sin's good graces again, then you can enter The Mines without dying.

It's Developer's Cut and v1.4005. It will be released when it's ready.

The website is just giving an Internal Server Error, so they probably tried to update the website, but some files broke. So I wouldn't count them out yet, I still have hope for them!
