I am a composer who tends to compose in orchestral styles. I've been playing piano for about ten years, so the keyboard work involved in composing came naturally when I started about two years ago. My initial focus was on more electronic instruments, occasionally featuring orchestral elements. A little over three years ago, I began composing in a primarily orchestral style, although I still incorporate synthetic elements into my work. I now practice composing in a variety of styles.

Hah, cutting it a bit close, don't you think? Looking forward to playing this when I get a chance later this week.

Nice composition. How much of that is Omnisphere?

On a side note, I know what you mean about returning to your first love, although I found the solution when my old Mac containing Logic Pro died and I was forced to switch to Cubase on Windows :)

Thanks. I was going for more "Hans Zimmer" than "John Powell", but hey, they're both great composers.

Yeah, this was a sort of precursor to the track I sent you, although the intention here was to work on theme variations. I'll be uploading the other track here soon.

Nice tutorial. I'm not using Spectrasonics Stylus, but I was still able to apply the general concepts to Cubase 5.
