Any chance we could see another Rise of Sols patch to improve the game? I personally think that the change to hero spells, making them limited, should be reverted. If you open up the magic cards (unit abilities starting with magiccard and MC) in the ALL.GSC and mod.gs1 files, most magic card abilities have a '<Amount>?</Amount>' data line with numbers ranging from 1 to 10. Fireball, for example, has <Amount>4</Amount> in one of its files, limiting it to 4 uses before it disappears. Mana and cooldown limitations already prevent heroes from using powerful spells, so I don't think we need this limitation. Spell cards don't have this limitation in the unmodified game, so I don't think we need them here.

Fantastic mod.

Any chance of this getting competitive multiplayer support / free team selection support? It would be unreal if players could choose to either join the primary team and work towards progressing through the map or join the enemy team and work with the NPCs to hinder the progress of the primary team.

'Oh my god, he posted twice, what ever will I do?'

Get a grip. No need to get excited.

The only reason I posted twice is because the admins keep deleting comments like these, which is even more sad. My guess would be because they know that they can't claim copyright over this material, nor can they issue indictments for it.

You can't copywright or issue indictments for edits you have made to Blizzard material. Even if some of your work was made from the ground up, remodeled entities from the Warcraft intellectual property made from scratch by your modelers still belong to Blizzard.

This mod deserves to be reported to ModDB and Blizzard. The modders have no right to claim copyright and issue indictments.

FYI: You can't copyright your own reproduced versions of Warcraft models and claim them as your own. Your indictments, no offence, have no legal grounding whatsoever. You don't have the right to issue indictments for reproduced materials from the Warcraft intellectual property without a licence from Blizzard – which is something I doubt you have.

edit: I'm not trying to tell you off or anything, I'm just letting you know that you can actually get in trouble by Blizzard for attempting to police your own edited work when the content you are creating, ripping and editing belongs to Blizzard by virtue of being part of their intellectual property. Edited by you and your team or not, the majority of the content still belongs to Blizzard and it is their intellectual property, meaning that you CANNOT copyright it, police it and issue indictments for it.

If you want to prevent people from using your edits, rips and reproduced content based off of War3 and WoW models that were created from scratch (but still belong to Blizzard because of the Warcraft intellectual property), encrypt your MPQ file, because that's about all you can do. You cannot copyright and issue indictments for your content.
