For others - you can get rid of the mouse acceleration with the following command line options:

-noforcemparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd

They seem to be trying to do something different with their game, finishing one thing before moving on to the next

When you create a mod- make sure you click create a mod with the source 2006 engine selected, otherwise it won't work

Oh and if you need a new mapper just gimme a shout and I'd be glad to help!
