Planetary Defense Base: During the Clone wars the Republic learned the hard way that without a strong C&C (Command & Control) Base to co-ordinate ground operations it is very hard (And sometimes very costly) to repel a planetary invasion by enemy force. To make sure this not happens again the Republic now always builds a Planetary Defense Base as soon as they "liberate" an enemy planet and garrisons a reasonable amount of troops to support it.
Planetary Defense Bases comes in 5 sizes. They are:
1. Planetary Outpost.
2. Planetary Garrison.
3. Planetary Base.
4. Planetary Fortress.
5. Planetary Stronghold.
This is the Planetary Outpost.
1. Planetary Outpost: Basic planetary Defense Bases. Replaces any one of the planetary landing zones. Moderately armed and armored, it contains a garrison strong enough to withstand small planetary raids.
Armaments: 2 Anti-infantry & 2 Anti-vehicle turrets with 180 Degree overlapping firing arc.
Can Garrison 4 squad.
Garrisons: 4 Clone Anti Trooper squad, 2 BARC squad, 2 AT-XT & 1 Kaminoan Light Tank (KT-50)
