the new FLAC is out and avail to those registered and approved in the FLAC group on eagles site

New in this release: 2.9.9.10

DMZ has done major upgrades! FLAC now works with all versions of Windows and both 32 and 64 bit OS's. He has removed the registration requirement so the KeyGen is no longer required. FLAC is now run directly from the file rather than being installed as a program.

this meets the goal we set for ourselves a long time ago when we took over the code ....good luck and have fun

WE HAVE STOPPED USING AN IP TO CONNECT TO THE SERVER AND ARE NOW USING A DNS TO REDUCE SERVER COSTS. THE NEW DNS IS RIPSERVERS.COM THE PORT IS STILL 2302

Although if you just don`t get that DNS Stuff you can always find our Current IP here.. Flserver.de

yes we have people on every day . if you have trouble seeing the server You can try these methods

Method 1:

Right click your freelancer icon on your desktop and make the target look like this to get to the UnderVerse (edit to your path):

E:\Freelancer\EXE\Freelancer.exe -s65.102.199.196:2302

or

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\Freelancer.exe" -s65.102.199.196:2302 (quotes only if your path has spaces in it)

To add more IPs leave a space and add them.

The Move went well and we are up and running

We are Moving to a New Machine Before the End of September ... This will be a Dedicated Dual Zeon Machine with 4GB ram on a dedicated DSL line Operated by Team [RIP] and no longer leased from an outside Co.

This will improve our performance and lower our Monthly operating costs from around 290.00 a month to Aprox 100.00 a month (Much Better)

you should Notice no Difference on the FL game server, The only Change will be the IP to Connect. When we have the New IP we will let you know

Our Down time for the switch will be hours not days and Dwn and I will be sure that all files are backed and no one will lose a thing.. when I know more you guys and gals will be the first to hear

Dwn and I will test everything twice before moving the files to the new machine ... So stand by for further news

if you want to play the Mod without being part of the RP you may create one [Non]playername char to explore ... if you dont fire on anyone , no one will fire on you

Explore all you like ... [Non] tagged chars may only have one char and can not participate in any server events.
