The pistol and shotgun have a much lower rate of fire for me as well. No idea why, but I have narrowed it down to "zzzhidef q4maps etc.pk4" as being the culprit file that messes with how weapons work.

Any plans on changing the alt-fire on the regular Plasma Rifle? It consumes more cells and is significantly worse than the mini-BFG the M2 shoots. Hell, even if it didn't have the huge warmup and shot instantly it would still probably not be worth using over just shooting at the head of thicc enemies.

Yeah, but the super grenades are one-time use and you'll only find one every few levels. Once you find a Sentry, especially if early on, you can repeatedly place it and pick it back up for most of your playthrough. And its risk of getting destroyed is very low if placed properly since monsters don't like attacking it for some reason. I actually had it 1v1 a Cyberdemon once since it kept stunning him.

Hey, I know the Sentry Gun used to be crap, but now it's way too overpowered to the point where I feel like cheating using one. The damage needs to be scaled down to like 1/4 of what it does now. Right now it fights better than you do.

I too had a bunch of issues with PL2, one of them being monsters teleporting in way earlier before crossing the actual trigger or being alerted from half-way across the map. This was a few PB versions back though so I don't know how if PL2 works fine with PB2.0 and onward.

Those are just example hud files. Use versions A, B and C that are included, in that order.

Could any of you smart fellers give me the down low stats on the difference between regular and FMJ modes on the Heavy Machinegun? I'm interested in the DPS, damage per bullet and how the FMJ penetration actually works. I tried checking in Slade but couldn't make much sense of the code there.
