Hey this allows me to use my 360 controller but there are some side effects.
When i install the 4 files from the xin sub folder into the gamedata\system folder my game experiences a strange gfx glitch and the game freezes on the profile screen. Without these files my 360 works however.....
My commando is constantly moving ever so slightly. It throws precise aiming off a good deal making the game unplayable.
I finally got it to start, i uninstalled and re installed it again. However, it takes a full 15 minutes for it to load the game from the first screen. Then every other section takes about 5 - 10 minutes to load. The first bandit hideout took a staggering 8 minutes to load, and the lag is REALLY bad. Honestly.. I had really hoped to get back into this game with this mod and the new dlc. After doing all of this just to get it to run though.. i dont even wanna play it.
So, feel free to delete my previous comments. I cannot get the damn 64 bit version of the game to run, at all. I'm currently downloading the toolkit, perhaps that will allow the 64 bit to just start, which it wont.
I've read some things online that basically say I'm ******, because i don't use a Nvidia card, and the engine hates AMD cards like mine. So, in a day or so when it finishes downloading, I'll try again to run the game, I've got your mod installed, I've also got the High res texture "patch" installed.
Although all that is, you can find that on the steam community forum page for the game, It basically just adds a notepad file with some configuration text. I dont think that would effect your mod, however I'd like to know if you think it would. Ty for making this mod, this and the Scorchers DLC has made me reinstall it, I really hope i get to play this mod of yours!
