Ah I see! I tried doing that, I really wanted to keep it all disabled but I get very overwhelmed when in a pitched gunfight, so I needed to have the faint hunger and thirst icon pop up along side your voice cue because when I am holding a position I try to avoid eating and drinking until I am done with the fight, or at least until I have used my medical items which means that sometimes I can't tell if I am taking damage because of a minor injury or because of hunger/hydration. That isn't anything about your addon though, that is just because of how I handle gun fights when I am outnumbered. :D

Disclaimer before I post this: Scripting and Coding are things that I have no real experience in.

So I have been carefully testing changes to this script. My "knowledge" is based on very messy re-writes that I have somehow managed in the past so safe to say I am clueless. I have been trying to find a way to make this script affect companions when they are NOT in stealth mode too. I love NPCs having flashlights, I HATE companions having them.

I been working my butt off to make my companions function in a useful way and all I need to do is find out how to entirely disable their flashlight and then I will be done. It screws with my NVGs and my own torch.

Recently re-installed the addon that reduces Soundscape's rain volume by 5dB following your suggestion.

Thank you so much for suggesting that I give it another try alongside your mod. I hadn't even considered bringing it back until you mentioned it and so far it has been a perfect combination! The rain volume reduction alone felt so empty, so naturally I didn't think about it, but your Voiced Actor Addon fills in the silence flawlessly.

Cheers for your help man! Incredible work.

Side note: (I like side notes okay? Don't judge me lmao) I forgot to mention that the only three types of weather that I have enabled are rain, storm and fog. Which is why everything felt dead before hand.

I have no idea how creating addons works, and I have no idea what is possible and what isn't possible (because of however the game may be designed) but I was wondering if you would be able to do the same for disassembling items? I tend to only disassemble when I am in one of my completely secure hideouts, but I do not visit them frequently (probably once or twice each in-game week) because I end up getting caught up in quests and have a habit of causing trouble. This means that when I finally return I have to spend a ridiculous amount of time disassembling hundreds of old ammo rounds, basic components and any scrap clothing I grabbed. I use a couple of addons that I have reworked to suit me specifically, but I still can't find anything to solve this issue. It isn't a huge problem, but being able to disassemble items without having to exit the menu between each one would be incredible in terms of QoL

Ah I see, I removed that rain addon after trying it as I began to miss the ear-killing original somehow. That was before I found this mod so I might try them together if it becomes a real issue, but honestly I don't feel like the volume is too tragic, and it does to a degree make squad combat more tense in poor weather so it fits well.

I mostly ask for curiosity and not for necessity :D I love this mod so damn much though, for real. The gas mask breathing transforms the game entirely and I gave up looking for this kind of mod due to none of them hitting the feel the right way. So glad I ended up finding this one by chance.

Side note: The 1.5.1 IMMERSIVE USEFUL HUD Addon by Redangelguts is absolutely amazing when used with this Voiced Actor mod.

Is there anyway that I can increase the volume of the gas mask muffled audio? This addon is honestly absolutely incredible. The gas mask breathing is so damn perfect but I feel like every other muffled audio queue is way too quiet for me.

Side note: I use the Soundscape Overhaul Addon which is likely why the character feels more quiet, the rain completely drowns out the dialogue for instance.
