I have other games too, just not on this site and compared to those this one is clearly my best game so far. I think it's been rather succesful altough I really don't know what would be recognized as succesful for this kind of game. Anyway, it's got like 110 downloads on my site, 90 here and maybe some more somewhere else.

It's been almost six years since the original release but I just released an updated version of the map. This is because there has been a pretty bad bug in the first map since Valve updated Half-Life 2 to use the Orange Box engine. On top of that I added stuff like a few gameplay changes and HDR lighting.
Anyway, the map works now and is a little more playable. :)

Yes, you will get source SDK base for free with any source game. It is under tools tab and has to installed to play Dystopia.

Shame it's for episode2 because I don't own it :(

This sounds über-cool. I really want to test those new weapons and implants and see those new effects and maps!! I really love dystopia and been waiting for this. :)

I've been really waiting for this! I hope there will also be some more servers in beta2.
Also those maps look really awesome, they are much much better that the crappy beta1 maps. :D

The worst thing on the maps were, that there were no sounds. The maps were completely silent. Only sounds you were able to hear was from the enemies and your weapons. So next time: use soundscapes!!!
The maps didn't look very bad without displacements but there were still some bad things on the maps...
Maps were also quite short, you could make bigger maps what means less loading. But the nice thing was background. It was nice and looked good (and it wasn't silent either). Many sp-mods don't have background at all.

But next time you are mapping, remember to use soundscapes and displacements and make better maps. :)
