Oblivion: Drops Of Wine

Mod review

First part was promising, second part was retarded (still fun though) and I fell under the map before I should have been able to
Fun to play, but not really what I'm looking for in an amnesia mod

Just awesome, would like to see the monster deaths incorporated into other mods

Childhood Insanity

Mod review

Strong points: the cellar was fantastic, really enjoyed the puzzles I had to solve, scares were unexpected, detailed environments such as the sliding shelf, enjoyed how you couldn't hide in the cupboards as this promoted a frantic tone when a grunt came

Weak points: some texts were vague and poorly written, the roof texture in the cellar felt like a shortcut, some of the monsters glitched up, the knights got a bit repetitive and some bits felt kinda pointless like the gold clue and the RUN!!! in the attic

Even though the strong points seem dwarfed by the later, the strong areas stood out much more and the weak points are only there to be constructive and to help improve your custom maps in the future

Overall 8/10

Asphyxia

Mod review

I thought this was a pretty decent custom story. I'll just point out a couple of things

Bugs:
-Lighting in some areas was a little bit dodgy
-Some doors lead to a void when you tried to return, they should not open

I thought the story was decent but I was hoping for some expansion. The ending was fairly anti-climatic and I feel that some add-ons, for example, a part 2 would do it more justice. I'm intrigued by the concept of a stranger following you and the notes were well-written and detailed. I also enjoyed the puzzle solving but maybe some of the hints were a bit too obvious. Some moments were truly frightening but were let down as the plot didn't really progress too much.

Overall 7/10

N.B. I did vote 10 then change to 7 as that still boosts the rating as much as a 10 would normally ;)
