another quastion: will stalkers try to walk around anomalies in DC or they will still walk through them with no harm?

will stalkers loot dead boodies and collect artifacts in new DC version?
does weapon upgrade require engine editing in this case? or is it just in scripts and config folders?

CoC is basicly a map compilation with npc and monster spawn points. I know its ment to be like that since its just a base for moders to make mods but.. there is not much did to the engine, nor to the graphics. they couldve at least make a half of the maps their own made maps. what they did is kind of too simple compared to LA.
Hey! How to properly open sarcofag_a48.level in SDK so that it WILL find all of the "not found objects". are they even included in SDK? or what?

And to other player: please, if u are still playing LA, could you test this two settings too - where r2_aa is being on and MotionBlur being on|off. Dont forget to reload the game for MB variable to have effect. Also test DX9, couse my rig works fine with r2_aa and MB off on dx9.
by the way, just found out that this duble-vision effect apears only on dx10 with r_aa on and MotionBlur being OFFFF. When i enable motionblur that effect disapears after i reload the game.
I tested all other options and the only one that couses that effect to turn off is MB. Dx9 didnt give that problem with double vision
Actually the effect is preaty cool. Like for use in some modding. for like psy-zones or for alchohol effect.
If u guys get to fix r2_aa, please leave the buggy shader also, but with different variable that controls it.
Does the engine have the code for the further adding a detector mod. I mean those fancy detectors from cop or cs. Those that have the animations on their screen.
After dc is out, will it be absolutely abandoned for futher development?
The problem is that its unclear if Dez will release sources after DC. Without them i dont think its gonna be possible.

LA would be a good base for mods with its graphics capabilyties,but the moding for stalker is dying out little by little. just let that fresh new breath into the stalker moding comunity before its too late...release it up alredy "as is" and let the sorces out for people that have time for moding. Judiciously, it would be better than trying to "streach the time like rubber".

it took them something about 6-7 years before the expected "leak" and folowing release. what was being done for that time - i am STILL WONDERING.
id says only graphics are good, for example for starting another mod on LA platform. other than that - regular mods for COP and SOC are overperforming LA for another 5 - 7 years. i dont know what took it so long for Devs to release 1.30000 version two yaers ago. may be porting DX10 from clearskys sources and writing nice shaders for it. even some of the teammebers were complaing about the team itself. Shortly, what they were complaining, could all be just a lack of organization and controll over the team.

Yo! come on! evryone that complains understands that the team is made of over 25years-old guys and all of them have reallife time consuming problems. However if you say something - make it worth your word!!!
Well guys, i'd say the same thing as i try to say to other people always: If u promise something to public(or tell that you have an intension to do something good for the public) - it will be up to your dignity to finish it up and make your promise(or intension) to come alive(does not mater for free or not)... i dont thing that there is a blame on people that complain about late release or not "finished something".

if you have limited time why dont you release the sorce code to let other people contribute. i think that will give a second wind to the game(whole stalker series). at the same time as you do your stuff for LA, moders will have ability to start their own project on LA engine. The main reason why i wrote this coment is that iam also interested to make a contribution/or mod.
