whoa...that's FPS grahpics level. model is ordianry, but the textures have got to be some of the best. ever.

and isn't the orca supposed to be bigger? the TW orca is about 27 feet long, and I don't think the length changed much in between the wars.

reborn just got a new texture artist! did a google search on him and he seems great. but the best part? he lives in fairfax, virginia! (fairfax county or city, cant tell I live in fairfax county) so anyways, what company does he work for? I dont remember any gaming companies around here.

lol and yeah i was looking at crysis screenshots today and WHOA! those are computer models?? i think havoc has less polygons than that ammo pouch hes carrying on his belt. and a tank has more triangles than a renegade base (sadly could be true). and the trees! the mountains! they look like real photos. not to mention the shadows, shiny stuff. cant wait for crysis reborn to be done (5 years??)

or you could make all the other units brighter. :D is it possible in the ren engine to make it so that units can get bullet holes, their textures blacken where they get hit, and they have imapct/scorch marks where they lose armor and breaks in the armor where they start to lose health? thatd be really neat if that could be coded. because right now they just spurt smoke.

i love renegade too. but sacrifices are necessary. :ninja:

explain renegade 2007 then. theyre using a different engine. reborn is going to move to crysis after reneagde. they both will have bases.

but do you really want to take the trouble of pressing a button every time you upgrade?

not to mention the graphics...again. in CnC3 the lasers look MUCH more realistic then in renegade, even if renegade has better detail.
you still havent explained garrisoning, mind control, stasis field, phase fields, ion storms, PACs, teleportation, clearing out structures, the squad concept, and to tell you the truth i didnt like SS's upgrade way, as you had to reupgrade each time you bought a new vech.
