Yep most modern digital cameras have an orientation sensor in them that registers how you're holding the camera, straight up or sideways. Smartphones have them too.
The orientation of the photo is saved in the image file. Your phone, windows explorer and most image editing/image display software can read this data and show the image the right way up. =)
Lol, my phone does that as well. Sometimes it doesn't know whether I'm holding it sideways or up, makes using the touch screen really annoying. Luckily I can force the orientation by using the slide-out keyboard it has.
Gravity defying beer...
...oh wait. =P
Funny because the original picture is right but moddb just turned it by 90degrees oO
But yes, Irish beer is unstoppable :D
Probably windows explorer that read the camera data and flipped the image right. ModDB doesn't do that, lol.
Well its uploaded directly from my phone and there its correct, too. :b

ModDB however doesn't do that.
Strange though :D
The image was taken straight up, but I think that phone screws it up anyways. :D

Well I noticed that if I take a picture upright it is like this and if I take it horizontal it is normal.. :D
nice :p
Nice beer :D
Shame Guinness is not really that Irish anymore :P lol. (Most Irish wouldnt be caught dead drinking it :))
