O wait, forget to read the readme troubleshoot... my bad. I ran the LAA patch and adapted the bioengine.ini file, hope things work out better now

I downloaded this mod a few days ago and I must say: it looks amazing. But then I get game crashing errors... And with the non-saving nature of Mass Effect 1, I loose a lot of gameplay every time this happens. Any idea how to resolve this?

The errors pop up in a separate window, causing the game to not react to anything. The error window says something like: general thread protection failed...
