the nords of real history adopted their battle tactics from the romans, they're organized even in small bands. on elder scrolls, nords make up for a good portion of the empire's soldiers and skyrim is far older than the empire, so again you got it wrong

the overhand spear animation looks cool (even though you cause less damage now) but the thrust animation, both for lances and swords is uglier than native, sorry for saying it...

the bin files are supposed to appear after you deleted them, the delete is kinda like a reset switch. do a new installation. go the mod folder and make a backup of the save folder to continue your campaign and then delete the mod. now download it again and after you put the mod in the medieval mods folder, download the 1.3 patch, its right below you in a decarn comment. overwrite everything with the 1.3 patch.
- then go to the text folder and delete every bin file (you only need to do this once).
- now when you start the game start a quick battle, after this you can go back and continue your campaign.
these two last steps need to be made only this once, after this you can continue your campaign normally

that is a intentional move by the devs, has to do with something about making the custom settlements work i think

not even that, just be at least two levels above them or set them on fire

since morrowind to skyrim undead tend to flee, actually draugr are among the most coward of the bunch

that's not a glitch, if you want a port you have to conquer a region with one. also remember that you can only leave red mountain through the ghostgate

the devs wanted to release what we already did, but we're still going to release a updated translation of the patch, also with that issue solved

please good sir, do try to do better and show us your superiority. i'm not even talking about most of the work in general, just making the scripts work and what not. i myself found a couple things i would've changed, i suggest them instead of going around ranting like someone who is owed something

the bin files are only because of the text, that is only to get the campaign started and get rid of the missing text/diplomacy problem. the mid campaign ctds are still being taken care of

okay people, i know the promise was to deliver the translation this weekend, and it is pretty much done, but the units and buildings are raw in terms of english, we want to finish that properly. plus there are some issues that have to be resolved by the devs that we can't work around by ourselves.

joe, don't bother with the translation, we're almost finishing one to deliver as soon everything wrapped up. bobachicken, you go to the text folder and delete the bin files, start the game, start a quick battle, then leave and you can start the campaign. you only need to do this once, not everytime. the only occasion where you have to repeat the steps is if you change any file of the text folder.

Marukhati Selective was a fanatical division intended to remove aldmeri influence from religion of man. it's not just the name that differs, the appearance given, the behaviors, but it's always the typical nine. obviously there are more than nine aedra. dunmer revere the the tribunal but we both know they are not gods per se, even their lorkhan influence had a time limit and was doomed to fail. vivec himself predicted that after the end of the tribunal they would go back to worshipping the good daedra. Malacath is a special case in that orsimer are aldmeri transformed and malacath is trinimac transformed, not even the other daedric princes see him as one of the daedra. i didn't say that every race followed the aedra, i myself included the argonians as exception in my message

the nine divines, a fancy word for the aedra, are in a way are the religion of most factions, khajiits and auri el included. auri el for example is akatosh, shor is lorkhan (i think). its always nine deities representing the same thing. if you check the pantheons on uesp you'll see the different names for the same deities. argonians are an exception in that they rever both the hist, and sithis, above aedra, who without him they wouldn't even exist

- the menu buttons and diplomacy are fixed by deleting the bin files in the data/text folder, getting into a quick battle, leave and when you start the campaign the missing text is gone.
- valenwood should definitely have more trees, not just to fill the map but lorewise the forest there was amazonian dense, not a calm and serene walk through the park. and i think that's the same for southern elsweyr.
- the aldmeri dominion does need more diversity, it has common infantry in elven armor, a couple of archers and way to many unnecessary mages. then again a lot of factions could have more, like light infantry for the orcs and what not. but the dominion ****** me off a little because
1-valenwood has only 2 average archers that represent a entire race
2-mages are basically naffatun remodeled, so less mages for more diversity would work well.
3- one of said mage units, and this is what tickles me off as a lore nerd, are the psijic order. same order that is against the dominion, is secretive and not involved with any government or war, and elite to the point that in the game not only they're weaker than what they would really be, in terms of numbers an unit of 20 of those guys would most likely be the entirety of the order.

with the fix texafornian posted everything seems to run fine, no diplomacy problem, crashes or missing text. at least for a good couple of turns, it is only a 1.0 version... since a lot of people doesn't bother with reading comments maybe yeah, it would be better to include the descr_strat and instructions to delete the bin files

i translated some of the campaign descriptions and it went well, except for the imperial city. the text appears blank in the game and i can't figure out why. decided to move on the building descriptions, to start doing the most useful things first, and first one i translated was the white gold tower. which had the same bloody problem. can anyone help me figure out what i did wrong? here's the text files: Mediafire.com

if the map could be easily changed i would move the units of the hordes of undead to the rebel faction and free a slot to add the maormer race, but that would imply creating pyandonea south of the summerset..

one historical battle i will not translate is the foothills one, between the empire and the tribunal. quite simply because i have no bloody idea of what that battle is, since i'm pretty sure morrowind was assimilated through diplomacy

People, in the twcenter page of the mod someone suggested deleting all .bin files from the text folder, causing the game to generate new ones. it worked for me, diplomacy works fine and no more missing text, but make a backup first because it may not work for everyone. that said, i'm gonna continue on my translation, if that's fine with the mod creators

yep, read that comment now, i woke up with good news, i was already expecting those issues to be solved only when a patch was out, which could be anywhere in this year. don't know why it doesn't work for some people though...
