Put it in your Dawn of War\Mods folder, check your Dawn of War directory. If there isn't a Mods folder then just create one and put it in there.

I don't exactly run a mod. I've got a couple of projects in the pipeline but nothing past the concepts stage atm. I've done a few little bits of modding but nothing released on the net. I do keep an eye on quite a few mods and games though, along with alot of the development technology so I can give you pointers if you need something specific, e.g. 3D programs etc etc.

Perhaps you should let the mod die, if no-one is interested then there isn't much point in making it. Perhaps try to come up with another idea though.

Perhaps people should check out the main nid mod page before saying things like that. There isn't anything on there that suggests the mod is going to be released this month. When they actually announce something and personally tell us, then I'll believe it.

Ah, it's so nice to hear you're back, especially with insults like "Jew" and "paky". You flipped out like I'd actually insulted you with the best insult in the world. I kinda wish I had because then I wouldn't feel obliged to report you, which I'm going to do btw.

I'm waiting for the proper website to come back up at the beginning of February. Looking forward to some later releases and general information updates though.

Also, why are some people so impatient. The dev team are using their free time to make this mod and they're doing it because they want to. Trust me, it's really frustrating to see people going "OMFG why is it not uploaded!!!1!" when it's not released on the day. Have some respect for the developers please, they don't ask for anything else.

No, they don't win every time because explosive shells and other assorted weapons negate the swarm by making them go pop.

In Dawn of War, marines will beat you because the nid mod isn't entirely balanced yet and marines become much harder after Tech 2.

In proper 40k, marines will beat you because their Bolters have lower AP than your armour save, for the most part. Plus they'll generally win in combat.

The other factor is tactics. If you haven't got the enemy on the back foot in at least 10 mins then be prepared for a long haul, especially in Dawn of War.

Despite not being a member of the mod team, I'm gonna say what I think.

I don't think they're going to be including flying units any time soon, perhaps in later releases though as it could be difficult to port the mod over to Soulstorm, though I'm not sure about such things.

Remember, I'm not a member of the mod team so I'm just giving my opinion of what they might do.

Sorry tomb, I'm not gonna be yelling at anybody, if Satan doesn't want to help with the mod then it's his choice and his loss. I'm still ready to help when I get some free time and still here to give advice.

No, you still need the other games to get the races in Multiplayer, just like Dark Crusade, otherwise there would be no point buying the other games and THQ and Relic would loose money. You'll still be able to play Soulstorm on it's own but you'll only get Battle Sisters and Dark Eldar.

If that's not how they've done it then I'll be miffed at THQs stupidity.

A nid mod release and an update here would be nice to see though, people have been asking if the mod's dead so the devs should really show them it isn't.
