After download, double click and it says, "how do you want to open this file?" what do I have to do to be able to open the file. please help really wanna play.

Hey i need some help here. After i download the file, i can't open it, it just said "open file with" internet explorer etc. Does this mean i need to get an exe. reader or something. Sorry not really good with computers.
