Just tried to purchase but the paypal option on desura doesn't work. So I downloaded the demo (seeing as they are the same file). Now how do I pay and unlock it?

I've always wanted a Medieval version of the X games (eg. X3 Terran Conflict). Free to roam and level and trade and slowly amass an empire.

Does this game have much in the way of empire building?

I'm having this exact problem:

No change at all. And it never automatically associates when I install Java.

javaw.exe brings up "Could not find the main class: (file location). Program will exit.

javaws.exe brings up "Unable to launch the application."

java.exe brings up a DOS screen in a window that shows some sort of error, but closes before I can read it.

And javacpl.exe is just a control panel file which my computer doesn't seem keen on using from its control panel anyway.

The only program that can actually do anything with the .jar file is winrar, and that only lets me decompress and view the assets.

Should I be downloading/installing java from a different site? This is like the only time I have ever used Java for anything."

I'm pretty sure that Minecraft runs on Java though with minecraft all I have is an exe file
