Two new weapons?

Your description is incomplete! Could you elaborate?

I maxed out my Muscle Aug as soon as I could, and I kept throwing boxes, trash cans, trash bags, barrels, chairs and even sofas at people. I haven't even thought of using small inventory items; I remember one time where I held a rock of some kind in a bar - I wanted to put it away, but it bounced off the shelf and killed the bartender from behind. Hilarious!

But you're right - it doesn't work well in tight places, the thing is that's when it's better to use a silent takedown - prod with the prod, JC!

The best thing about the power throw is that it helps you preserve ammo. When the aug is maxed, you can run around and keep bouncing large crates off bots, blocking the line of sight and damaging them simultaneously. I only use this technique against spiderbots, though.

Another thing - one corpse means one additional kill. Knock someone out with a barrel and you've got a body you can throw. It's easy to aim for the head, too. The body will get gibbed in the process, sure, but your target dies, so you can repeat that easily. Your throws have 100% accuracy and you don't even need to use skill points to master that.

Throwing TNT crates at people from miles away never gets old. And using unconscious MiBs as makeshift 20mm HE is hilarious. Arguably, this ability becomes less useful later in the game. Great for hoarding ammo, tho.

Deus Ex 1 has funny augmentations in general - at a certain point they make you feel like a god. They give you the ability to manipulate the battlefield in a seemingly game-breaking way (speed jumping out of game area, destroying crossbow bolts the moment they're fired, destroying milbots with their own missiles, walking past tripwires, 70% explosion resistance...). GMDX took it to the next level with passive abilities.
It's definitely a fun part of DX1 and as such I can't argue for nerfing of any of our current augs.

I wouldn't mind just a little bit more reach on grenade throws (compared to item throws it's lackluster), but I think that they shouldn't explode upon contact - they're a tactical weapon after all... unless you want an alt firing mode, of course.
The problem I see is that it's probably a different piece of code loosely related to item throws and as such this adjustment won't be trivial at all.

I never really understood the point of this place.

I just skipped it on my playthrough; couldn't justify the effort to clear the place out.

If only surpressors in games were realistic!
Look at what we've gotten over all those years - everybody expects a quiet 'pop' that is 30dB or lower.

*In-game a silenced Glock emits 0.5 dB according to IG specs... whatever it means in game logic*

The Muscle Aug is already overpowered.

It's me again, I just registered.
I have posted in the general bug report thread with further details + some other things. No need to clutter this comment section, right.
