Glad you like my scribble :)
The Druid, one of the guides to our main character, plays a very important role in the Story. :)

Thanks for the feedback Rymdreg, yes he might have some odd atributes to be from the north. Originaly the idea was that this would be a Monk from a southern country where christianity is already a fundamental part of society at this time. As a sympatising party to the christian movement he plays a role of his own in the Story. The nose is supposed to be a characteristic atribute that imediately differs him from native population. During the process of creating this character we reduced the size as it was too cartoony which our game is not intended to be.

The Cryengine is capable of handling alot of Detail even on a very big terrain due to its use of a strong LOD System. --> Foliage yes.
The Daylightsystem is prety good and can be trigered, dynamic Shadows, HDR, Colorcorrection, Depth of Field etc. can be added. Water was always strong in the Cryengine, you can define rivers and the Water will flow along your defined paths. The only thing we'd have to check on is the fog. There is a system for Volume Clouds which can be lit and should be modifieable. If this works in a performing way then yes I'm sure it can be done ingame.

Thanks for your Comment Pyryp. I'm very sorry for the late reply: The first phase would be to create the mechanics of the game, the playable Content should be about 3-4 Hours of Gameplay. In this Stage we will concentrate our efforts on creating a limited area (The First area of the Game) with most of the mainfeatures of the final Game, so the gameplay shoult represent more or less the final Game.

At the moment we are looking at a 1-2 Year Developement Period(Depending on how many People we can find to join our Project)for this first Stage. The Content of this first Stage will be released as a Demo (or Preview) in which we will see how much reaction we'll get from it, how many people will play and like it.

If everything works out fine, we will continue our Work and concentrate on creating Quests, Content to get a full Game with a complete Story, Cinematics and Music. This would again take 1-2 Years.

What we need at the moment are People who are familiar with the Cryengine 1/2 and/or Content-Creation.
