I have news about this mod, we may be becomming a sub mod for 'Nusantara Total War'. Essentially whats to be decided is if they have 2 campaigns, one for mainland SE Asia and one for island SE Asia. If they have the two, then in essence Siam Total War will 'become' the Nusantara TW mainland campaign, and hopefully ill have an important position in creating that campaign :)

The mods not dying, just changing to meet demands (since we never got our own unit modeller).

:D

Well since the mod starts of in 1530....there is no srivijaya, majapahit or malacca.....this is a list of all of the Malay factions:

-Aceh Sultanate
-Kingdom of Champa (not rly Malay but their culture was rly close and thus we categorize them as Malay)
-Johor Sultanate
-Federation of Kedah-Pattani (we grouped them as 1 faction due to their interconnected royal families, also we cant afford to have too many factions)
-Possibly another one in the future although dont expect anything for a while

Why we dont include all of South East Asia:
Biggest reason is because we are at our faction limit. There are other reasons too, including the fact that Siams influence did not spread any farther and also making islands can be a real b*tch, also the AI doesnt handle island invasions very well. Hope that explains things.

We do include all of the Malay Peninsula and the northern half of Sumatra but the island of Java is irrelevent to Siam, also it brings with it a whole host of new factions and were already at our limit :\

thank you everyone for your support :D

But the biggest support we can get is modders, especially 3d artists/unit modellers, and also researchers, scripters, 2d artists, and building modellers....any help is appreciated :)

Everyone is invited to register at our dev forum (theres a public section and a private section, mod team members have access to the private section)....again many thanks :)
