Overall it's an average game on the Goldsource engine, it does have some impressive and fun things in the game. But this just isn't as good as many are praising it to be.

Usually when I think of the majority of the mods in the Half-Life community I think of unfinished mods with horrendous gameplay, yet there are some that are actually really good, and play wonderfully. Although, there are rarely any mods that will make me consider a second playthrough, they're just not fun enough and a pain to get through.

However, when I came across Delta, I knew I was looking at the work of a professional and that's when I found Arctic Incident.

At first I thought it was gonna be another poorly made mod, however I was surprised to find possibly one of the most enjoyable and best mod I've seen so far.

I love Half-Life and this was a game that truly succeeded in being as enjoyable if not more enjoyable than Half-Life!

I am not a big fan of the "HD model pack" by Gearbox, and I love how XF stays faithful to the original graphics, the texture work really sets out the mood of the mod.

And the gameplay and level design are the best parts, you never get confused on where to go nor do you get bored and most importantly it's fun. And that is something that needs to be in every mod it needs to be fun.

Anything worth complaining about is the main menu, it does look like a place holder but I am sure it will be changed in the future.

To anyone who sees this, just get it you won't regret it you'll hopefully have a blast in the cold and I hope XF well for his next project.

Night at the Office was a very disappointing mod to me, only completing the game in under an hour, this mod tries to bring a new and immersive campaign but fails with its laughable voice acting that sucks all the seriousness out of the mod, well if you can call it voice acting because it just sounds like people talking in their normal voice with very little emotion in their voices.

What I mean is that you just don't care about these people and I was literally laughing my *** off when I was shown the "sad" ending.

And everything else about the mod just feels uninspired and mediocre. The models are just a combination of pieces ripped from other Half-Life games ( although does look nice), the sound effects are either place holders or under-powered and there is no music.

Now I know it sounds like I hate this mod and that it is the worst, well it isn't.
I actually enjoyed this mod quite a bit, the weapons feel nice, the gameplay isn't boring unlike other mods and for a mod made by one guy it certainly is amazing with all the paths(although minimal) and extras in the game.

It's just that this mod is very short which is my main problem.
