Can you imagine a 1.3 remake without the Bren?! Although 1.3 didn't really have a machine gun class (Vickers) we are looking into that as a possibility. We've had a lot of requests for it to be added. I'm trying to talk our game asset guys into going with uniforms based on environment - allowing the mapper to decide the uniforms for their map... still researching to see if this is a viable option.

Oh and we have changed the Mortar class into a Combat Engineer - but he will have a mortar, plus charges and other cool toys.

Not dead... pending. We have a significantly smaller team now, but progress is being made. I don't want to make the Black Mesa mistake and set a "Release" date (sorry guys don't mean to throw you under the bus... you have our support). We have a public beta date in mind - and yes it is before 2023.

Look at it this way... after your nerves are shot and you've pulled your last hair out - you will know the UDK inside and out.
