for now those objects are just new assets, which can be used by everyone to create a new Modern Combat map. But of course we're aiming to use them for maps that we make too.

You need to change your shader from "Ultra" to "high" or lower. "high" won't harm your graphics quality at all, because ultra doesn't add anything but an half assed DX10 mode.

Physics settings to low is a different issue, independent of our mod. It only applies for ATI card users cause their cards don't support PhysX. It hasnt anything to do with those graphics glitches.

you need either opposing fronts or Tales of Valor, and the game needs to be patched to 2.602.... If you own either of these expansions you dont have to start patching from 1.00, but you can just install for example ToV first and the game will already be at 2.400 and you go on from there.

just dont use DirectX 10, by not choosing "ultra" as your graphics settings. ... we also suggest to put the model detail slider all the way up to the right. and for ATI cards you should choose physics "low"

Super tanks in vCoH are capped as well (Tiger, Pershing). So are the Abrams and the ZTZ-99 in our mod...

please change your shader settings from ultra to high. this will switch from Direct X 10 to Direct X 9 and solve the problem for you 99%

The changes are not coming out of the green. We had a 1vs1 tournament with top ranked CoH players recently. We analysed all the replays and made the changes accordingly. So, yes, we ARE aiming for balance.

with drag and drop Spoon means taht you need to open the archieve with an archieving software of your choice (WinZip, WinRar, ...) and then extract the content into the Company of Heroes main isntallation folder!... NOT into the mod folder!

are you sure you have your .net framework up to date? And are you running the launcher as admin?...

try to increase your graphics settings, especially the model details slider. If that doesnt help, please post screenshot your graphics settings. Your description is indicating a LOD problem.

We're still working on getting our website back online. the xml error can be ignored for now, because it is just saying that the launcher wasnt able to checkc for updates on our website.

for the first installation there are alternative guides on other forums:

for manual patching, just download the manual patches and install them one by one in the correct order into the CoH main folder, confirm overwriting files.

thats simply because our website is down. the launcher checks an xml file on our server to see if updates are available... it won't harm your game.

the automatic update currently isnt working cause our website is down. you'll have to download and install them manually. links are a few posts down the wall.

Regarding patching, while our website is down you may also patch the mod to 1.005 manually by extracting all the file archieves one after another into the main CoH installation directory and confirm overwriting existing files.

you have to make sure that your .net framework is up to date, if you're running windows XP. otherwise the "start" button will not work.

probably one of you didnt install the patches successfully. This can happen when you are not running the launcher as admin, cause overwriting permission is not provided in this case.

You can manually download and extract the patches to your CoH installation folder from this link:
