I did the 'unpack all' option but unfortunately, it looks like with the v1.5 update, they must have changed something because a bunch of files are outright missing or are just not being unpacked. For example, all st_items files... I know the game is still using these files because I have altered versions loading from \gamedata\configs\text\eng\

Where did you find the default file for this to edit?
I've extracted everything from the game but there is no 'ui_cell_icon_equipment.dds' that I can find within \gamedata\textures\ui

I second this. This is actually awesome.
Being able to have these numbers show up at an adjustable part of the screen would keep immersion and just be really helpful/awesome.
Of course, with a simpler text and less flashy colour.
I'm trying to get the 'fill' option to prompt when (near) water as opposed to having to stand in it.
I realised that a lot of the water (even puddles) in GAMMA are highly irradiated and standing in them for long enough to even click 'fill' is deadly.
I'm a bit rough at coding.
I believe it has to do with this line:
near_water = sf(current_material, "water") or sf(current_material, "actor")

Unfortunately, the display does not like resolutions above 1080p.
Any distance above three digits messes with the UI and the background is misaligned. :/
I haven't looked into it, but it could be that the file making the change is an .xml file. Those are loaded into the game's memory in alphabetical order, regardless of the positioning of the mod in MO. Mod Organizer unpacks them all into a directory and then the game reads them from a to z.

I was looking into seeing if a script file would be possible to determine what sfx would be played. Especially to detect whether or not you even have a backpack equipped.

You just cant stop watching it, right? lol
Two small issues I realized early on.
1.) Fanatic returns back to the village early after meeting him at the Trash Compactor anomaly.
2.) The assignment to go scout around the rookie village is a little odd.
- It seems that the multiple needed locations are always "there" but only one shows at a time on the PDA in a randomly given order. Possibly an engine/code limitation.
- Once I am actually done w/ all of them (I think) & it points me back to the village to turn it in, there is no option & I'm forced to abandon it.
