It's beautiful, but the center strut in the cockpit window might get in the way of the pilot's vision. It would seem odd if you implement a cockpit view and that is somehow not there.

Second thought, the speed is just fine. Flying higher gives the illusion that you're flying slower. You got the flight mechanics down perfect.

Oh my God, I cannot believe that you are giving this old game some love! The Hellbender is my absolute favorite fighter, even more than the Pyro-GX from Descent, and it is so good to see it again, especially in a proper 3D model. It's absolutely beautiful. And the standard graphics look nice too and the sound effects are super high quality. It all feels great, but the standard speed and the afterburners of the Hellbender might need to be bumped up.
