its not that the game isnt playable its that desura is no longer accessable, so im using the web based desura

To Developer, installing this mod completely corrupted my desura and i can no longer use it, even after clean install. This problem has been reported by multiple users.

I can still see the desktop cursor when i play, is there a fix for this? And the FPS seems rather low, still a good game though.

I found this game called Gnomoria that you can now find here on Desura. its like a 3D reincarnation of dwarf fortress. a lot less intimidating!

I can confirm this is a 3D reincarnation of Dwarf Fortress and it seems quite impressive! i would definately try to get you to try this game if Dwarf Fortress intimidates you.
