Run the original dos Doom (and Doom II) in dosbox using D-Fend Reloaded. Then use a 14-inch CRT monitor as a display and keyboard controls in-game for the authentic, original Doom experience in 320x200 resolution. I think it's a case of the game just being too difficult to mod since the xbx game files are mostly unidentifiable, lacking headers in the files. It could be done but no one has thought of it as being worth their time i guess. There are no tools or editors anywhere to even mod the game.
