I really enjoy Doom-type games, like Blade of Agony and many other GZDoom based games. I don't quite know how to operate .wads and such, but I'm figuring it out. The STALKER games were pretty fun, but since I'm running a laptop some of the newer games are pretty laggy.

Being a person still in school and in the household of my parents, Blade of Agony is a big source of relief for me when it comes to boredom.

However, due to my laptop not being entirely my own, I find that my Father thinks it's OK to delete Blade of Agony off of my computer, usually when I near completion of a difficult section. This has happened quite a few times, and it's a source of extreme frustration for me, as each time it's deleted I become languid and start the next episode, as I don't want to have to restart the chapter and redo all of my progress. I completed episode one, moved on to episode two, escaped the prison, and then my game was deleted. I redownloaded the game about a month later, started episode 3, beat the camp, collected all of the evidence required to start that one section, and then moved on to the second mission of the episode.

I am not particularly skilled at this game, even though I play on normal difficulty, and I feel like it would be beneficial to be able to skip episodes or to find a way to restore my progress, though I doubt that's possible. Is there a solution to my woes?

Yours Truly,

Texnicolor
