having sway in weapons causes hit detection failures (CoD's engine doesn't compensate well for gun sway), that's why it's removed.

atm, final killcam only works on the end of the game. I thought of making a setting for it and implementing it to be displayed between rounds too, but didn't have the time yet.

yes, no original file from cod4 is replaced/overritten (download the 'files only' and you can see that they don't replace anything, same for the installer).

Only by running Leetmod you will have the said features and fixes but you can enter any server anyway (being 1.7 or Leetmod).

Bots are the most recent version. Tell your favorite server admins about Leetmod ;)

It was only released 3 days ago. Talk to the admins of your favorite servers about Leetmod ;)

Perfectly fine. We've learned from other mods mistakes that by default change much of the gameplay and we tried to keep Leetmod familiar but balanced as possible.

If you don't like anything in particular, you can easily modify it on the new menus (e.g. disabling a weapon: I.imgur.com), or use one of the rules (see the the pink buttons here: I.imgur.com) like only snipers, pistols,etc. for even faster configuration :D .

You can play on mac too, instead of the installer, download the mod files only.

Bots only support the stock gametypes.
Also I had to remove support for some maps since I hit the ammount of code limit of COD engine (maps: bog, modern rust, killhouse, shipment, snow version of crash).

Very true, and that is stated on the mod itself and on the official website.
Also Leetmod is open source, check the dev page on sourceforce: Sourceforge.net
Compare Leetmod to OpenWarfare and you can see that 2 years of development since OW last revision clearly shows the difference.

because of a limitation of the call of duty's engine, it is impossible to add new weapons while retaining the cod4 weapons and without breaking map compatibility too (many mods suffer from this problem).
We opted to have everything clean and working.

It is based on the source code of latest Pezbot version (011p), with some bugs fixed and new menu's so you can enable/add bots easily to any team. Also Leetmod includes waypoints for almost every map (and the new custom maps too) so you can play with bots on them too.
