Sorry man, I like most of the people out there don't sit around blogging all day nor have I ever heard of this "Hello" thing for the actual images on it. That's what I meant by template, the images. You picked her entry because it was appealing to look at then? How does anything she wrote inspire you to update your page beyond the pretty ball graphics and the fact that she's a female? I'm sorry, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that you're not going to shut down everything you have and then convert it to a damn blogger page.

People like myself followed the instructions and took the time to draft a NEW design that is easier to look at and easier to navigate. I don't care what you say, you obviously had an entire bias with graphics in this competition despite your own reports that even written entries were submitted. So much for as long as you can envision it... yeah, ok.

Regarding overlooking my entry, you're the one who said it not me. Your comment spoke of me like I was some kind of jackass for commenting on your profiles. If you would have read my damn entry and responded to either of my two emails then I would have known you had gotten it. I don't think you guys have been serious about this contest to begin with.

Whatever man - total bs. You're telling me my entry wasn't good? I just saw your comment today about "overlooking" my entry. Real slick there! If you guys had a damn confirmation system for entires I wouldn't have had to sit there scratching my head wondering if you got it. If you had read my entry you would have seen I asked a question in it. Then I wrote a follow up email that was unanswered. Then I wrote the comments just to make sure you guys got it and you write me that bs comment about overlooking.

So you're telling me my entry wasn't high quality? You were looking for design ideas. I drafted and wrote my ideas. Oh and yes, that blog took graphic talent. It's not like she used some generic template. You're telling me someone without graphic know-how could have made that? Yeah, ok.

Thanks ModDB admins for ignoring your own instructions / terms and totally screwing over the general public that doesn't have a degree in art. I wrote a complaint to Sumo.

Total bs.. Seriously. You only picked people who obviously have graphic skills. The entry said nothing about having to have excellent GRAPHIC presentation. Some people can't do **** like that, I took the time to draw and write out my opinions.

Notice how they didn't give out the account names of the authors too? I bet this **** was rigged. LAME.

I hope I won - I entered on one of the first few days with a hand drawn design idea and a written description of what I envisioned! :)

Do we get to pick our color or are they all black?

Bad, I'm not but the entries said nothing about judging being based off l33t graphic art. Again, I feel this thing was rigged or the rules / conditions weren't followed. It's very obvious - look at the damn winners! They're all graphic entries.

Per the terms, it said it could be as simple as a few paragraphs or "scribble". I don't have art talent so I took the time to draw and write. At the very least the best entries in each category should have been chosen 1st / 2nd / 3rd instead of this graphic bs.

I wouldn't have heard of this site if it wasn't for this promotion and I completely wasted my time registering and entering. All this competition was was a method of stroking a bunch of art wizards and completely ignoring the general population who don't have graphic design talent. Again, I wrote a complaint to Sumo about this.
