There are some blue men. No squads or triggers or waypoints. Crashes when you press start. Original Men of War, latest version 1.17.5. Apr 2010. Latest version from Steam.

To try isolate the problem I tried:
Found the original map in MOW, it is Town multiplayer map.
Used F2 to save a copy of the map into a new folder.
Copied your Town Hammer .mi mission file into the new map folder.
Then I started the MOW editor and loaded the mission. Only 6 soldiers appeared on the map. It looks like all your mission data was saved as part of your map files. It is not in the mi file. I don't know if something happened in your file save process or if it is a compatability problem with older versions of MOW.

It is too bad, I was looking forward to this one.

Thanks for uploading this mission xgunishment. Your bridge battles caught my eye on youtube but Breaking the Line is my favorite. I did some of my own editing and you may want to try.
I left the convoy alone, nice warmup skirmish. To get German forces to attack I created three "squads" or groups from your forces and added some more forces. Named them German main, German right flank, and German left flank. Created more way points and added delays of 120 seconds between each attack. Added some reinforcements for the allies. I made them hidden groups so the CPU won't have to track them until activated. Makes for a longer battle. Then I saved it so mission will run without interaction required by me.

The mission file can be run in other maps of same size or larger. Just use F2 to save a map you like and it will create a folder. Exit editor and copy mission file (breaking_the_line.mi) into it. Some forces need to be repositioned and may be off the map. The convoy will have to be rerouted for the roads are different. It worked with the 3v3 crossing, 4V4 bazerville, and 5V5 march maps from the game.

It is fun to add some more forces to either side and see how the outcome changes. If you add a couple of mortar units and maybe a nebelwerfer (next to the German mortar unit) the Soviet bridge attack totally fails. They panic and head for cover. A couple of tanks on each side can make the outcome more unpredictable.

I could not edit any of the forces in your mission, possibly because it was made with an earlier version of MOW AS. They seem to have been saved in the F2 mode?? I was able to add more forces with no problem.

Men of War apparently is designed to manage squads but does not do as well on larger units. They tend to bunch up way too much. It is best to split the attacking force into many small groups or squad size (main, right flank, left flank, etc) You can activate each group by just adding waypoint command for each group, using the same trigger.

Epic Bridge Battle- problems
There are no squads, waypoints, and triggers. Nothing happens!! There are also some blue soldiers and soldiers with red heads. If you select any of these to try to fix or delete it the game crashes and exits.
I am using the latest version of Men of War from Steam.

The Clash of Powers seemed to be OK, except waypoints only for the Russians. You have to get the other side to advance to get them to fight.

The GEM Editor does not save and manage files the way that we are used to. Map information and mission information are saved in different steps. Instead of creating a single file, the Editor will save a map by creating a map folder (with a name we give it) with four files in the folder. The four files in the map folder are always named: map, map.grs, map.net, and map.ply. Then the mission information is saved in another file that is put in the map folder with the four files. The mission file will have a *.mi extension. The name does not have to match the folder name.

In summary, to run a mission you need a folder with the four map files and one *.mi file. This is the Men of War Assault Squad\resource\map\(map folder) location. You will find two empty folders named (multi) and (single) in the map directory. I did not want to put anything in them for fear of over-writing game maps. They will work if you put them there. Men of War has the same setup but no (multi) or (single) folders. I decided to add each xGunishmentx (folder) to the Men of War Assault Squad\resource\map directory.

Men of War Assault Group missions (The Fortress and Soviet Bridge Assault) are good to go. Just copy the folders to the correct location. Men of War Assault Squad\resource\map\The Fortress and
Men of War Assault Squad\resource\map\Soviet Bridge Assault

For two Men of War Assault Group missions (D-day and Breaking the Line) xGunishmentX only provided a single *.mi file. He has provided instructions. They are made from maps provided in the game. You will have to find the correct map, open it, then do F2 and a save-as to create a new map folder. Exit the Editor and copy the *.mi file in the map folder. To run the mission you open the Editor, press F3 and open the mission file. You do not need to load the map, that is done automatically.

I loaded this up in my MOW editor today. There are two different mission files. The solders all have a red globe in place of their heads and some of the soldiers are solid blue figures. I have not seen this before. I can't find an hot key to fix this.
If I add any soldiers they look normal. The Clash of Powers mission looks normal too.

OK I figured it out. I don't have the map files since my version of the game leaves them compacted in the pak files.
I opened the skirmish map (01 usa-overloard) in the editor, then saved it to D-Day map. It created a D-Day directory with the map files. Then I copied your D-Day.mi file into the D-Day map directory.

Hello xgunishmentx,
The D-Day has only the D-Day.mi file. I can't load it without the map files. The others all had folders with map and mi files and worked OK.
