A very large scale bridge defence scenario. Requires a very powerful PC to run!
Objective:
Play as the Germans and hold the bridge or play as the Russians and try to capture it! A section of Russian troops will move out automatically upon mission load. However, the rest will either react to gunfire or require manual control to attack the bridge. Highlight a bunch of them and order them to attack the bridge. Once you've done this a few times, the A.I tends to pick it up once the action kicks in.
Instructions:
Extract folder and paste into:
Men of War Assault Squad \ Resource \ Map \ [Paste Folder Here]
When you open the editor, press f3 and then at the top right select options and then load. It should now show “Soviet Bridge Assault”. Double click it and the mission file to open is also called Soviet Bridge Assault.
Once loaded, press f1 and then select start at the bottom right. Now press Numpad 1 to take control of the Germans if you want to take control of the defenders!
Note:
This requires Men of War: Assault Squad and will not run in the original Men of War.
Also, due to the recent Assault Squad patch I was forced to make tiny changes to this mission to ensure it remains compatible. Therefore, the latest patch for the game is advisable (may not run without it).
And just to stress... this requires a very powerful rig. Even on an overclocked i7 CPU, I struggle to run this smoothly sometimes!
The map is fantastic, very detailed, i love this kind of map. compliments! :)

It is fun to add some more forces to either side and see how the outcome changes. If you add a couple of mortar units and maybe a nebelwerfer (next to the German mortar unit) the Soviet bridge attack totally fails. They panic and head for cover. A couple of tanks on each side can make the outcome more unpredictable.
I could not edit any of the forces in your mission, possibly because it was made with an earlier version of MOW AS. They seem to have been saved in the F2 mode?? I was able to add more forces with no problem.
Men of War apparently is designed to manage squads but does not do as well on larger units. They tend to bunch up way too much. It is best to split the attacking force into many small groups or squad size (main, right flank, left flank, etc) You can activate each group by just adding waypoint command for each group, using the same trigger.
Yeah mixing it up with tanks is interesting. The patches have really done strange things to some of my older missions and I had to do a lot of work in notepad removing old extensions. That has caused this issue with being unable to edit present units in F3 I think. You can still use F2 though
Hey where do i save my maps to when their downloaded. Because I watch you on youtube and you never putted up a vid on how to install these missions to men of war or any other men of war
